Our booth for the kids at the World Cheese Dip Championship
One of my favorite things in life is helping people. It’s really a little selfish; I like to see folks’ faces light up when I’ve done something a little special for them. Take this past month when we got to help out at the World Cheese Dip Championship. I admit that tasting the different cheese dip entries and then voting on it was fun in and of itself, but donating our time and signs was even better because it put money into the pockets of Harmony Health Clinic, a nonprofit which helps Arkansas folks who can’t afford medical care. Then there was the booth that we set up for the children to have a place to sit down under a tent, out of the hot sun, and color a little bit while eating candy. It turned out to give the parents a break too which made everybody happy!
And in fact, that’s our heart at Pinnacle Signs and Graphics. We really want to help people the very best we can, ranging from consulting with them and helping them to figure out the best form of “visibility” that they need for their business need within their price range to saying a kind word to a disgruntled business person (it’s a hard world out there as we all know). We also work at giving back to our community through efforts like the World Cheese Dip Championship ,giving discounts to churches, the Greek Food Fest, local schools, and many others. To me, being able to do these things, small though they may be, makes working hard in the business world worth it all.
